Yesterday, several Bollywood stars showcased their support for the Indian Armed Forces in the aftermath of ‘Operation Sindoor’, which was a military response to the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
Shahid Kapoor also shared a powerful message on his official social media by posting an image of an Indian Air Force aircraft and initially captioned it, “India doesn’t provoke. But India never forgets," accompanied by the Indian flag emoji and the hashtag #OperationSindoor.
However, the Deva actor updated his post, removing the statement and retaining only the emoji and hashtag. He also turned off the comment section of the post, which has now went viral.
Talking about other celebs, legendary actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan shared a strong statement, symbolising the national’s sentiment as he wrote, “A proud India stands united with its armed forces. This is the resolute response of a strong nation that will not be divided by cowardly acts of terror. I applaud the decisive and strategic military action taken by the Government of India. Jai Hind."

Ajay Devgn also lauded Operation Sindoor and wrote on his social media, “Saluting our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and our Indian forces. India stands tall and strong. Jai Hind!"
On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Deva, which also featured Pooja Hegde, Pravesh Rana, Girish Kulkarni and Pavail Gulati among others in prominent roles. It failed to perform at the box office.
