Sweden For several years, Sweden has held on to its fourth position on the list. This is made possible as the country consistently performs well in areas such as quality of life, social trust and equality.

Netherlands Ranked at the fifth position, its strong ranking is attributed to factors such as a robust social security system, excellent healthcare, and a well-regarded education system.

Costa Rica This Latin American country has secured the sixth position on the list. Known for its motto “Pura Vida” (pure life), Costa Rica’s emphasis on well-being, community, and environmental sustainability plays a significant role in its happiness levels.

Norway Known for its high standard of living, Norway excels in social equality, generous welfare systems, and work-life balance. This nation has secured the seventh position on the list.

Israel Despite regional challenges, Israelis report high life satisfaction due to robust healthcare, innovation-driven economy and close-knit family structures. This has secured eighth position.

Luxembourg Luxembourg holds the ninth spot on the World Happiness Report, thanks to its high income levels, safety, and quality healthcare.

Mexico  Despite economic challenges, Mexicans report high levels of life satisfaction, often credited to close family bonds and active social networks. This has been ranked at the tenth position on the list.

India India has ranked 126th out of 143 nations maintaining its previous year’s rank. It has secured a happiness score of 4. Several factors like low GDP, low life expectancy and poor healthcare access are the reasons for lagging.
