Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) – USA This airport retains its position as the world’s busiest airport with 108 million passengers, marking a 3.3 per cent increase from 2023.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) – UAE A significant international hub, the Dubai International Airport handles 92.3 million passengers, up 6.2 per cent from the previous year.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) – USA This airport serves 87.8 million passengers, reflecting a 7.4 per cent growth and continues to be a major domestic and international gateway.

Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) – Japan Tokyo Haneda Airport experienced an eight per cent increase from last year, reaching 85 million passengers, bolstered by the resurgence of international travel.

Heathrow Airport (LHR) – United Kingdom This airport handled 83.9 million passengers this year, a 5.9 per cent rise from last year, solidifying its status as Europe’s busiest airport.

Denver International Airport (DEN) – USA The Denver International Airport saw a 5.8 per cent increase, accommodating 82.4 million passengers and remains a key hub in the western US.

O’Hare International Airport (ORD) – USA Served 80 million passengers, marking an 8.6 per cent growth and continues to be a major transit point.

Istanbul Airport (IST) – Turkey Handled 80 million passengers, a 3.9 per cent increase, reflecting its growing importance as an international hub

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) – India India’s largest airport accommodated 77.8 million passengers this year. This is up 7.8 per cent more than 2023. It remains India’s busiest airport.
