It is fair to expect a couple of flagship devices within a budget of Rs 60,000. But our list this month is packed with current generation flagship phones, barring one. And that one is the Apple iPhone 15! Sounds exciting enough? Let me walk you through our star-studded lineup of phones under Rs 60,000.

Best phones to buy under Rs 60,000 in India

Samsung Galaxy S24 5G

The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G can be comfortably purchased under 60K now. The phone is powered by an Exynos 2400 chip which is almost as powerful as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. You can get the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant of the phone in this budget. This S24 is fairly compact and has IP68-rated dust and water resistance.

It sports an Armor Aluminium 2 frame and a glass back with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which also protects the screen from scratches and cracks. The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with 2600 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ compliance and 120Hz refresh rate. This rugged phone flaunts an IP69 rated ingress protection that allows you do underwater photography too. Speaking of photography, the camera department here consists of two 50MP cameras at the back (primary and telephoto with 3X optical zoom) both with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The phone launched with OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14, with the Android 15 update around the corner and more OS and security updates to follow.

The iPhone 15 brings a lot of new things to the table as compared to its predecessors, starting with a faster and more powerful A16 Bionic chip and a USB-C charging port instead of the proprietary Lightning port.
